How it Works…

  1. Stumble on (or actively seek out!) a Little Native Seed Library & pick up a Starter Packet and Observation Journal within

  2. Also within this library is a custom sticker that represents the location you are at. Place this sticker on the back of your passport in the corresponding square to mark that you have visited this location

  3. Take in the flowers and plants at this location. Notice if there are any bees, butterflies, or birds around!

  4. On the inside of the library door is a window cling with a QR Code. Scan the code to learn more about that library’s theme. There are seed packets that reflect the landscape you are at within the library for you to take home to use on your own property if you so wish! If not, please leave the packets for the next visitor!

  5. Hold on to your passport & repeat these steps at each of the other six locations! At your last stop, submit your completed passport in the dropbox on the library post. Johnson County Soil & Water Conservation District will contact you to arrange a time to pick up your prize!
